Daily Bread

Distributes food to the community every first and third Saturdays, 10AM -12 noon. Works through FeedMore for food purchase. Opportunities available for drivers, in-take, distribution and record keeping volunteers. The ministry meets as needed.
Doorkeepers Ministry

The Doorkeeper Ministry of First Baptist Church graces the sanctuary every Sunday morning to greet and welcome God’s people into the House of the Lord. Ministry volunteers serve each Sunday as part of a combined volunteer pool. Ministry volunteers sign-up online and are responsible for welcoming and seating worshipers as well as the pulpit each Sunday at the 7:45 and 11:15AM services at Hull Street and the 9:15 AM service at Ironbridge as well as for funerals and other special services. Ministry volunteers sign up to serve on the Sunday(s) that works best with their schedule.
Greeters

The Greeters Ministry serves as the welcoming arm of the church greeting worshipers and assisting at all worship services, funerals and special ministry events. Volunteers are the “first face” of our congregation. This volunteer opportuniy requires a joyful, helpful and welcoming spirit.
Health & Wellness Ministry

Provides opportunities for members to create healthy lifestyles through exercise, diet and special fairs/forums. The ministry sponsors exercise classes at the Hull Street location on Mondays and Wednesdays each week at 6:00PM at the Hull Street location.
Medical Ministry

Provides emergency medical care to congregation during worship services. Medical experience is required to check vitals and communicate with emergency personnel.
Men’s Bible Study

The Mighty Men of First Baptist Men’s Ministry meets each Tuesday, 6:00PM at the Ironbridge campus. The Ministry is designed to strengthen men spiritually and develop men to provide leadership in church. The Men’s Ministry provides leadership in several ministry areas: security, property maintenance, and mentoring to youth.

The Combined Choir serves as the primary choir and serves the congregation on Sundays as assigned, Sacred Hour services on the first Sunday of each month and for other special services. The choir rehearses on Thursdays at 6:00PM, Ironbridge Campus, Music Suite.

The media ministry provides serves as the audio/visual support for the church. The ministry seeks to provide a positive light through multi-media, audio and video recording, camera operation, editing, tape duplication and creative design. Our purpose is to capture all ministry events and activities through modern technology.
Social Media and Technology Ministry

The Shawl Ministry

The Throne Room Ministry

Transportation
